Wax Underseal anthracite (aerosol)

DESCRIPTION Wax Underseal anthracite (aerosol) is a corrosion inhibitor which forms a continuous protective film when dry, thanks to the waxes and resins contained in it. The material can be finely sprayed and is characterized by high rigidity. The dried film has good adhesion and corrosion-protection properties. Wax underseal anthracite (aerosol) is mainly used for repairing all underseal coatings which are applied at the factory. The product protects all car underbodies.-

APPLICATIONS For the repair, aftertreatment or supplementing of protective coatings based on PVC rubber-resin, rubber-bitumen as well as wax-coated underbodies in relatively inaccessible areas. Selective application and repairs after accident repairs.

APPLICATION The surfaces which are to be treated with wax underseal anthracite (aerosol) must be thoroughly cleaned beforehand. Rust must be removed. The surfaces must be dry and free of dirt and grease and extensively free of dust.

The material is best suited for use at room temperature. Shake can vigorously. When the ball has worked loose, continue to shake the can for a further minute. Hold the can vertically when spraying and spray thinly at a distance of about
20 - 30 cm from the surface. The resistance to abrasion and corrosion increases with increasing coating thickness. For this reason, the spraying process should be repeated once or twice after a short flash-off period.

After use, the can must be inverted and sprayed until the valve is clear of the product, with only propellant escaping.

Note
Do not spray material onto moving parts and hot components such as mechanical joints, the engine, gearbox, drive shaft, exhaust pipe, catalytic converter and brake systems.
